Our surgery is accessible to patients with different access needs as follows:
- Wheelchair accessible, all patient facilities on ground floor, at Yeadon Health Centre, ramp/level access is at the back from the car park. At Netherfield Road, the main entrance has both ramp and stair access. Should a patient require access to the first floor at Netherfield Road, we do have a stairlift if appropriate
- Auto opening doors to waiting area (automatically open at Yeadon Health Centre, button opening at Netherfield Road – large low set button)
- Reception desk has wheelchair access at Yeadon Health Centre
- Portable induction loop system to aid the deaf and hearing impaired
- Disabled Car Parking and step free access from car park at both sites (this either at the back of Yeadon Health Centre, you will need to ring the bell for access, or in front of Yeadon Health Centre where there is a dropped curb
- Translation services available including British Sign Language, this must be booked in advance, please make reception aware at the time of booking your appointment so we can facilitate this
- In the event of a fire, patients will be guided by our Fire Marshalls to the nearest appropriate exit
- Accessible toilet facilities at both sites.
